3年生が英語の授業で作成した向陽中学校の紹介を掲載します。

今回の英作文紹介にて令和3年度入学生のホームページを終了いたします。

地域の皆様や保護者の方々の暖かいお力添えを3年間いただいたおかげで3月15日に赤学年の生徒たちは卒業いたしました。　ありがとうございました。

赤学年の皆さん、皆さんに成人のつどいで再会することを3学年職員一同楽しみにしています。これから起こる様々なこと、いいことも悪いこともお互いに話せるといいですね。

皆さんが向陽中でしてきたことのバトンは後輩たちが受け取ります。

School Event

Sports Day

　　　　In our school, we have Sports Day in May. In this event, we compete in many contests. On the Sports　Day, the students are divided into six groups to battle it out and decide the winner.　　All graders practice hard for a month in advance!　　The location will be in the schoolyard of Koyo Junior High School. Every year the event is very heated and exciting! It will be a great day for you too! 　

Student Council Election

　　　Koyo Junior High School has the Student Council Election in autumn every year.　　People who want to be on the student council will give a speech and talk about what they will do. Their speeches are very good. The Student Council Election is very fun.

Chorus Contest

Koyo Junior High School has the Chorus Contest in Muse every year. Muse has four halls: Arc Hall, Marquis Hall, Cube Hall, and the Square. The chorus contest will be held at Ark Hall. Ark Hall is the largest of all classes that win gold, silver, and bronze awards in each grade and receive a certificate and a shield. Classes that win gold medals in the thrid grade can go to a friendship concert.

"Hey, I'm from the class that won the gold medal. I was moved to treats when I saw the results of my daily efforts and I remember how happy I was."

School Trip

Koyo Junior High School's school trip goes to Kyoto and Nara. Second year students go in mid-January every year. The first day we do group activities in Nara. On the second day, we make plans in advance and explore Kyoto freely as a group. On the third day, the whole class goes sightseeing in Kyoto and then returns to school. On school trips, students make plans and take actions on their own without depending on teachers, so they can be independent.

Dear students at Koyo Junior High School: Hello! My name is Koyo-chan! I'd like to introduce one of the events at Koyo Junior High School. When you become a junior high school student second year, you can enjoy the school trip with your friends. The places you will go on a school trip are... Kyoto and Nara! You can spend time with deer in Nara, enjoy traditional Japanese townscapes in Kyoto, etc.... This experience will maybe stay in your wonderful memories.

Our school trip is not like other schools. Other school students often go to Kyoto and Nara in summer during their third year. But we often go in winter as second year. We can enjoy seeing famous snowy views in Kyoto. Also, third year students have high school entrance exams, but as second years we can enjoy the school trip without test anxiety.

We usually go to Kyoto and Nara. You can feel a lot of history and learn a lot there. Since you will be staying for two nights and three days, you will be able to deepen your friendship with your friends. You can eat delicious food at the inn. They will surely make you smile. After the lights go out, we can talk secretly on the futon. Oops, if I explain any further, my teachers will scold me.

Club Activities

English club

In the English club, we perform plays in English, play card games, and watch English videos. Also, there is a speech contest once a year, and we practice for it. From first grade to third grade, we get along very well and have fun together. Please come in!!

Kendo Club

The kendo club operates at the martial arts hall. We often play games against other school on our days off. We practive hard to achieve group and individual goals. Everyone gets along well regardless of grade or gender. It's going to be a very fun three years. Please come to the Kendo Club.

Koyo Junior High School has a Kendo Club. There are many beginners in the Kendo Club. I think that's why it's easy to start Kendo. The good thing about the Kendo Club is that we get along very well. Boys and girls sometimes practive together. In the Kendo Club, we value etiquette. Be sure to meditate before and after practice to calm your mind. As you can see, the Kendo Club is a very fun club activity, so please try joining!

Science Club

Many people join Science club. My club has many interesting activities. For example: making paper airplanes, making batteries, and so on. If you're interested in our activities, you must join Science club. We hope you will join us.

Table Tennis Club

Table Tennis Club operates 4 to 5 days a week. We are working hard every day with the aim of participating in the prefectural tournament in the school sports tournament and the rookie competition. Even people who have never played table tennis are welocome. If you are interested in table tennis, please come to our table tennis club!

Hello everyone! I was the Table Tennis Club Captain. Do you like table tennis? I like table tennis! Our table tennis team always practices four days a week. Boys and girls can play together. I think table tennis is life. Life is table tennis! Next year, please come and experience the table tennis life with us! Please come and see our club. Beginners are welcome! We will fight together!

Art Club

Koyo Junior High School has fourteen different club activities, one of which is the art club. In the art club, students draw pictures of their choice, do sketches and reproductions. There are also many students who regularly enter their works in competitions. We don't just study art but also takj with other club members and create artwork together. Why don't you join us in the art club?

Our art club can draw pictures two days a week. Here are examples of our activities; first, we can dedicate Ema to shrines in November. Second, we can draw backgrounds during events. We can also draw them during summer vacation. Are you interested in Manga and photos? If you are interested, come to the art room. You have to something to draw with!

In our art club, we make big pictures for school events, such as the Chorus Contest and the Third Years Send-off Party. If you are interested, come to the first art room on the first floor of Building B. You don't have to have art knowledge.

Brass Band

Our club practices five days a week. During the summer vacation, all members of the club practice together for the contest The songs you practiced during your summer vacation will be songs you'll never forget. You are welcome if you can't play an instrument. Let's play instruments together and have fun!

Girls Basketball

Our basketball team practices four days a week. Our team practices to win the championship. Our teammates are friendly, so we can enjoy practicing hard. Why don't you play basketball with us?

Girls Tennis

It is one of the most popular clubs among girls. The club activities are so hard but it is so fun. We play doubles tennis and we practice five days a week. In summer vacation and winter vacation, we can demonstrate our skills. If you win a lot of games, you can advance to the prefectural tournament. Also you can enjoy playing with your teammates and you can compete with them. Let's play tennis together!

Track and Field

The students in the club are practicing very hard. Practice is important to get the best time in the race. Practicing is difficult, but I'm happy when I got my best time. You can make friends and enjoy the club with them. Track and field is a sport where I win against myself. Let's enjoy school life!
